The operator · Since 2003

I'm Kevin.

I've been building websites since I was thirteen. That was 2003. No degree, no boss, no one showing me how. Just one project at a time until it turned into a career.

I'm not an agency. I'm not a team of people you'll never meet. When you hire Walters Web, you work with me. I'm the one on the call, the one building your site, and the one who picks up when you have a question.

You focus on your business. Everything people find when they look you up is mine to worry about.

Sec. 01 · Who I work with

People who value their business.

If you care about how your business shows up online, we'll get along great. I want to do good work for people who actually give a damn about what they're building.

When I take on a project, I actually learn your business. Not just what you do, but how you talk about it, who your customers are, and what makes you different from the guy down the street. That's how I build a site that's actually yours. Not a cookie-cutter job with your name slapped on it.

I run a small business too. I know what it's like to watch every dollar and wonder if an investment is going to pay off.

And when you need something? I respond fast, because I know it matters. No "we'll get back to you in 5-7 business days."

Sec. 02 · The quarterly pass

Your site gets better over time.

A website nobody touches for three years starts working against you. Hours change, services change, the photos start looking dated, and nobody tells you.

So four times a year I go through everything: your site, your listing, how fast it loads on somebody's phone in a parking lot. Then I tell you what I'd do next and what I'd ignore. If it's a quick fix, it's usually done by the time you read the email.

No extra cost. That's what the monthly is for.

Sec. 03 · Build standards

Accessible, fast, and built to last.

This stuff comes standard. It's not an upsell.

  1. Accessibility is personal to me

I build websites that work for everyone because I know firsthand what it's like when they don't.

  2. Fast, no matter what device

Your customer might be on the newest phone or an old one on a bad connection. Either way, your site loads quick.

  3. Built to last

I don't chase trends that'll look dated in a year. I build things that hold up.

  4. Clean code underneath

Search engines can actually read it, and if you ever hand this site to somebody else, they'll know what they're looking at.
