Why a 12-month commitment?

Building a quality website takes real time and effort. The 12-month minimum lets me invest that time without charging you thousands upfront. After 12 months, you're free to cancel anytime. No questions asked.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel after the 12-month minimum, no problem. Your domain is yours, and I'll transfer it wherever you want. The website itself stays with me (that's how the monthly model works), so you'd need to have a new site built elsewhere. I'll make the transition as smooth as possible.

What if I cancel before 12 months?

If you cancel early, you'd owe the remaining balance of the $3,800 site cost minus what you've already paid. For example, if you cancel at month 6, you'd owe $3,800 - $1,050 = $2,750. This protects the time I've already invested in your project.

Do I own the website?

Monthly plan: The website is part of the subscription. If you cancel, the site stays with me. You always own your domain and any content you provided.

One-time payment: You own everything. The site is yours to take wherever you want.

What does "unlimited edits" mean?

Text changes, new photos, adding a service, seasonal updates: all included. If you want something updated, just email me. I'm not going to nickel and dime you for small changes.

"Unlimited" doesn't mean "rebuild my whole site" or "add 20 new pages for free." Those would be scoped as a new project. But for normal ongoing changes? You're covered.

How fast do edits get done?

Most small updates are completed within 2-3 business days. Larger requests like new pages or sections typically take 1-2 weeks.

All edit requests need to be submitted via email. This keeps everything documented and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What if I need more than 5 pages?

Extra pages are $100 each. That said, most small businesses don't need more than 5. We'll figure out the right scope during our discovery call. I'm not going to upsell you on pages you don't need.

What's included in hosting?

Fast, secure hosting with SSL certificates, daily backups, and uptime monitoring. I handle all the technical stuff so you don't have to think about it.

Do you build e-commerce sites?

I focus on service-based businesses with brochure-style sites. If you need a full online store with inventory, shopping carts, and payment processing, that's a different scope. Reach out and we can talk about whether it's a fit.

How long does it take to build a site?

Most sites launch in 2-3 weeks from when we kick off. I'll give you a specific timeline during our discovery call based on your project's scope.

What do you need from me?

Not much. Your logo files (whatever format you have), a few photos if you have them, and answers to some questions about your business. I write the website content based on our conversations, so you don't need to send me paragraphs of text.

What if I'm not happy with the design?

We do two rounds of feedback during the build process. First round is for the overall direction. If it's way off, we adjust. Second round is for the details. By the time we launch, you'll be happy with it.
